The Green Lady

Smoothies are a quick and easy way to get your greens down. I like to keep a bunch of items in the fridge that I know blend well together regardless of the combination. The last few months I kind of forgot about smoothies and ended up taking a bit of a smoothie hiatus. But this past weekend I got right back into it.

I came up with this recipe because - to be honest - I was craving something sweet. Not like a strawberry sweet. Like a chocolate layer cake sweet. I’m not going to lie to you and say that this compared at all, but it was definitely a substitute I will not forget about the next time I’m fighting the same cravings for breakfast.

Feel free to add whatever you like or take away whatever you don’t. Pro-tip: some frozen strawberries or blueberries will take this to another level… if you’re feeling adventurous give it a whirl!

1-1.5 frozen banana

.5-1 cup Frozen chopped organic spinach 

1 spoonful Dandy Blend (instant herbal beverage with dandelion)

1 spoonful Organic chia seeds

1 spoonful Organic flax meal

1 scoop Almond butter 

Dash Brain octane oil (bulletproof) 

1 scoop Collagen protein (bulletproof)

½ cup chocolate oat milk (Dream)

Fill with Water (Mother Nature)
